Sofa Entertainment group initiates its operations in 1991 in San Pedro, Garza García with the objective to offer differentiated concepts of entertainment in the form of lounges, nightclubs, restaurants, bars, concerts, and events, while focusing on creating a fun and positive atmosphere to its patron.

NIT D´ BAR opens its doors in 1995 as the most exclusive place in the city of Monterrey. Located in the suburb Del Valle and with matchless decoration and atmosphere, Nit D’Bar is nowadays remembered as a revolutionary venue by those who were amused by the uniqueness of this place. Nit D ‘Bar definitely set a mark on Monterrey City.

After 8 years of operation, and being the favorite spot of any “regiomontano” (people who were raised in Monterrey), LA ORDEN, was a discotheque with medieval monastery decoration, impressive show of lights, live music, and amazing atmosphere welcoming the most beautiful people in Monterrey.

BARROCO opened in 1998 with the perfect combination of art, vitality, and movement that created a great variety of forms and expressions, which were characteristics of the Baroque Era. However, Barroco was a place to experience historical decoration with modern music.

Sofa Entertainment opens LANTHAI restaurant in 1998 to offer an innovative and original experience to its clients. Located in one of the best areas of San Pedro Garza Garcia, Lanthai was quickly rated in the top 10 best places and most quoted restaurants by the “Sampetrinos” (people who live in San Pedro). Its elegance and contemporary style combined with its exquisite food, Eastern-Western fusion with a French touch, makes this place a very special one.

Starting in May, 1998 a restaurant-bar named TARTARUGA arose in the middle of the city. This was a somewhat relaxed concept, beach style, with delicious seafood, and excellent music. Tartaruga became soon a hot spot with atmosphere of diversion, enjoyed by young vibrant people.

Being the best and most successful place of Monterrey, VARSHIVA opened its doors in 1999 to nightlife lovers as well as to internationally renowned Djs. Varshiva was honored the award of architecture of the year as it had a very unique style with interior design featuring contemporary décor that can be easily compared to any fashionable discotheque of Miami or Los Angeles. It was well known by its electronic, alternative, and house music played by the most prestigious Djs in the world.

La DALIA opened its doors to the public in 1999 as a restaurant/lounge with fine Mexican cuisine. La Dalia’s decoration was very particular since it was a mix of minimalism and contemporary details. The Dj in the lounge area created a relaxed ambiance for clients to chill out while listening to great music and tasting delicious food and cocktails.

Later in that year, DON QUINTIN opens. With the best live music bands and Djs mixing different music styles from the 70s to today’s best hits, Don Quintin was a true success from the beginning. Characterized by its excellent service and well-known fashion famous liquor liter glasses that can only be found at the "QUINTINES", this place soon became a leader in the city of Monterrey. Don Quintin’s Mexican-Revolutionary concept extended later to new branches in Querétaro, Saltillo, San Miguel, Cuernavaca, Chihuahua, Ciudad Juárez, Torreón, and now in Mexico City.

Located where the legendary discotheque LA ORDEN previously was for many years, UMA Bar opens its doors to the public with a fabulous inauguration party in September of 2005. Its contemporary decoration with Eastern influence makes this a must go venue. It has two atmospheres to please different tastes. The inside area has live band and UMA’s resident DJ playing House, Pop, and Greatest and Latest Hits. In the terrace, the Dj plays music and showcases videos of Indie, Alternative, and British Pop Genre. UMA’s Terrace overviews the beautiful Marcoplaza (Downtown Plaza).

A new branch of Don Quintín opens its doors in August of 2007, having a privileged location with just a few meters away from the main entrance of the Tecnologico de Monterrey University (The Best Superior Education University in All Latin America).

LA MULATA Juarez City After many years of experience with nightlife, Sofa Entertainment opens La Mulata. This venue was designed for Remix Music lovers. The set up of La Mulata, with ample armchairs allows its service to be impeccably fine towards clients. Every summer La Mulata Juarez City opens its terrace where the party scene of great music, amazing cocktails, and energetic people gets blessed by the moonlight.

La Mulata Querétaro opens its doors in June of 2007. Located in Queretaro´s historical center, La Mulata features a contrast between its modern and sophisticated design. La Mulata was designed to create a cozy atmosphere as its décor combines wood, subtle illumination with red lamps, and furniture with elegant texture. Dj and live band rock the nights of La Mulata.

In April 2008 with a great expectation created by the finest people of San Pedro, GEORGE carries out its inauguration party in a way never seen before in the city. GEORGE is known for being the most exclusive place and with the best people of Monterrey. The concept and decoration of this place makes it so original that it is almost impossible to compare to any other place in Mexico. George is divided in three different areas, a terrace, a lower level, and a second level. The lower level has a dance floor and its own DJ that plays House, Pop and Hits. The second level also has a dance floor and a DJ that plays the greatest hits of the 80s, 90s, and today’s.
